A volunteer street ministry, from the Fraser Valley to Vancouver
Every week our volunteers turn 120 loaves of bread into 1,000 sandwiches, take hampers to shelters across the valley, and bring food, clothes and toiletries to Vancouver's Downtown East Side.

Food from a food bank and bakery, clothing from a hospice, shoes from a shoe store.

Everything is hand sorted in Maple Ridge: shirts, socks, blankets, toothbrushes, soap.

Peanut butter and jam, egg salad, tuna, deli meat and cheese. A thousand of them.

Food, clothing and hampers go out, along with Bibles, devotionals and prayer.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.”Matthew 25:35
Every part of this ministry runs on people's time. Come for a couple of hours, bring a friend, and you'll be welcome.
Tell us a little about you and which day suits. Barry will get in touch to say hello and where to meet.
“You don't have to be a Christian to volunteer with us. You just have to have compassion for people in need.”
Fuel is one of our biggest ongoing costs, and every gift helps us keep going. For a tax receipt, send an e-transfer through Burnett Church and put “Jesus Loves You Ministries” in the message.
giving@burnettchurch.comWe're working on becoming a registered charity so we can issue receipts ourselves.
Here's what we need most right now. Drop-offs are in Maple Ridge. Get in touch and we'll tell you where.
